Rafelkap
A princess with a frayed hood, a wooden ladle in her hand and a goat that never backs down.
No ordinary princess
Rafelkap’s story begins with a wish and ends in a battle against expectations, rules and trolls. Rafelkap is not a princess who sits and waits to be rescued. She rides her goat Cabra, swings her ladle and faces every danger head-on. Her story is exciting, funny and magical all at once.
Rafelkap is Tinkel’s own version of an old Norwegian folk tale, known in English as Tatterhood.
Meet the characters
Rafelkap
Wild, headstrong and fearless. She says what she thinks and does what needs to be done, even when a princess is not supposed to.
Finesta
Her twin sister. Neat, polite and always perfectly dressed. She is the opposite of Rafelkap in almost every way but the two are inseparable.
Cabra
Rafelkap’s loyal goat. He is mad about treats and secretly raids the kitchen when nobody is looking.
The trolls
They live closer to the castle than anyone thinks and they love to drop by uninvited.
